What we collect

From the contact form: name, email, the type of work you selected, and the message. From email or phone: whatever you choose to send. During an engagement: access notes, interview notes, and copies of traces you provide (tickets, screenshots, cohort cuts). Server logs may include IP address and browser type for security of the static host.

We do not need special-category data for this work. Please do not paste health, children’s data, or card numbers into the form.

Why

We reply to enquiries, run the engagement you asked for, keep records required for UK tax, and (if you accepted analytics cookies) understand which pages are read. Legal bases are contract and pre-contract steps, legitimate interests in running a small practice, and consent for non-essential cookies.

Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are deleted after 18 months unless you ask us to keep a note. Client files and memos are kept for six years after the last invoice, then destroyed, unless a longer legal hold applies. Cookie choice sits in your browser until you clear it.

Rights

You may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or portability where the UK GDPR gives those rights. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We do not sell lists of visitors.

International transfers

The static site may be served from infrastructure outside the UK. If a host stores logs abroad, we rely on that host’s appropriate safeguards. Client traces stay in the UK unless you already keep them elsewhere and grant access there.

Processors

Hosting, DNS, and email delivery act on our instructions. We do not use the contact form to feed an advertising network.
